My paintings are creations and expressions of the contrasts of my upbringing. I was born in the U.K., raised in Kenya and resettled in New Zealand.

I paint with spontaneity, shape, texture and colour that flow together to express my life experiences, and my current travels provide an exciting and additional perspective to my early impressions.

My paintings are on canvas using acrylic and mixed media.

Hilary currently exhibits in New Zealand and has work held in the U.K., Australia and Kenya.
